As an adolescent, Brett struggled to find his place in the world and never really felt like I belonged. His solution was drugs and alcohol. That quickly turned into an addiction that completely took over his life. After detoxing in county jail he realized that he wanted more out of life than getting high. On December 26th, 2022 Brett will celebrate eight years drug and alcohol free, and we also discuss strategies on how to stay safe over the holidays.
Brett started a podcast in February 2020 called Recovery Survey where he speaks with a variety of guests that have overcome addictions and mental health issues.
In September 2021 he also helped started a live stream on Facebook – Recovery Revolution Live on Thursday nights and on Youtube.
Brett’s goal is to spread the message that recovery is possible. If he can do it, so can you!
